As a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, we recognise that parents are the most important educators of their children. All the staff see themselves as co-workers with you in providing education and care for your child. There are many ways in which parents can take part in making pre-school a welcoming and stimulating environment for the children:

• Exchanging knowledge about their child’s needs, interests and progress with staff

• Sharing their own special interests with the children

• Being part of the committee

• Taking part in events held at play-school

• Building friendships with other parents
