Woolley Road
Having recently acquired this purpose built property, staff and the committee have worked very hard to get it ship shape in time for September 2011. Close to both the Tin hut and Matlock All Saints' site, Woolley Road will enable a smooth transition from the child's early days at pre-school, right through to starting infants.
As well as a large range of toys, Woolley Road has access to an outside playground, and it's proximity to the school allows children the opportunity to attend story time and assemblies within the school to get them used to a school setting. We currently offer sessions at Woolley Road on the following days:
Lunch 11:50pm - 12:20pm Bring your own pack lunch and an Ice Pack would be good to keep it cool too
8.50 am. Open doors, children put slippers on.
9.00 am. Registration. Discussion.
9.05 am. Free play inside
9.20 am. Cohort groups (1) inside or outside.
9.35 am. Free flow plus IEP work.
10.20 am Cohort group (2) inside or outside.
10.35 am Free flow
10.50 am Tidy away outside
11.00 am Inside play
11.10 am Tidy away inside
11.20 am Story, songs, dance.
11.35 am Show and tell
11.40 am Children going home – coats and bags. Children staying for lunch – wash
hands and eat lunch.
12.20 pm Registration and discussion for children who have just arrived.
12.35 pm End of lunchtime
12.35 pm Free play inside
12.50 pm Cohort groups (1) inside or outside.
1.05 pm Free flow plus IEP work.
1.50 pm Cohort group (2) inside or outside.
